How does it work?

Electrocoagulation involves using an electrode (a needle) with a high frequency alternating current. We dab individual capillaries with the needle one by one. The current flows through the electrode, heating it up to a very high temperature. This leads to the coagulation of the blood vessel protein.

The treated capillary is absorbed and disappears completely. The procedure takes anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes depending on the size of the treated area. A small scab may form, but it will disappear after a few days.
